During the show, we’ll be doing a free foot gait analysis which shows you how your feet are actually walking and why you may be experiencing foot discomfort. To do this analysis of your feet, we’ll make an imprint of each of your feet with a pressure stat mat, a device that makes an inked impression of your feet. With this impression, our Certified Pedorthist Kathy Carandang will identify your feet’s high pressure areas and what type of arches you have (normal arch, high arch or flat arch), and discuss how your gait may be affecting the other areas of your body.
During your consultation, Kathy can provide shoe fitting information and explain the difference between over-the-counter and customized orthotics. She may also perform a steadiness test to demonstrate how the ezWalker® Basic Insoles can provide a firm foundation for your feet.
