When you’re working in your yard or garden, you can spend a lot of time on your feet – mowing the lawn, trimming trees or scrubs, planting flowers or veggies, and pulling weeds. During the Flower and Patio show, we’ll be doing a free foot analysis to show you how your feet function as you walk and why you may be experiencing discomfort. During this analysis, we’ll make an imprint of each of your feet with a pressure mat that makes an inked impression of your feet. From this impression, our Certified Pedorthist Kathy Carandang will identify your feet’s high pressure areas and your arch type (normal arch, high arch or flat arch), and discuss how your gait may be affecting the other areas of your body.
During your consultation, Kathy can provide shoe fitting information and explain the difference between over-the-counter and customized orthotics.
